This project presents an open design DIY 3D printer called Green Mamba. Project started as a hobby project and went through several revision displayed in figures below. The first assembled and working version had no printed parts (V1.0) and there was no other 3D printer available. As project went on and printer started working, replacement parts are (self) printed, iteratively improving printer, its reliability, loudness, print speed and quality. The final version (V2.0) uses mostly 3D printed parts and it is based on Bowden setup. Printer parts are designed using OpenSCAD and are easy to print. Some parts are used from external sources (Thingiverse). Printer is based on Marlin firmware and standard RAMPS 1.4 hardware (RepRap).
Printer is now used as part of laboratory excercises at Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
