Branislav Batinić was born on June 19, 1990 in Novi Sad, in the Republic of Serbia. In 2009, he graduated from the secondary technical school in Ruma, majoring in electrical automation, and in the same year entered the Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTS) at the University of Novi Sad (UNS). He completed his basic bachelor studies at the Department of Power, Electronics and Telecommunications, Applied Electronics, in 2013, with a final bachelor's thesis on the topic "Realization of a Web server using an Atmega16 microcontroller and an ENC28J60 Ethernet controller". He completed his master's studies at the same department in 2014, with an average grade of 9.75 and defended his final master's thesis on the topic "Implementation of measurements at a photovoltaic power plant". He enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad in the academic year 2014/15.
From December 2014 to November 2017, he was employed as a research trainee at the Department of Electronics, Faculty of Technical Sciences and participated in two projects of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. From November 2017 to November 2020, he held the title of research associate, and was elected to the title of assistant in 2020 at the Department of Electronics. He participated in the preparation and teaching in the following subjects: Practical Electronics, Designing Electronic Circuits Using Computers, Digital Control Electronics, Optoelectronic Laser Systems, Optoelectronics, M2M (Machine-to-Machine) Electronic Systems, Microcomputer Electronics, Detection and Warning Systems.
His areas of interest are digital electronics, analog electronics, optoelectronic sensor systems, microcontrollers. He is the author and co-author of numerous papers published at domestic and international conferences, as well as in international journals.
He received PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UNS, Novi Sad. The topic of his doctoral dissertation was "Development of the reflection optoelectronic method for determining the colorimetric values of the color of printed samples". Currently, Branislav is Teaching Assistant at FTS, UNS.
